In this role, ou will lead the Equity strategy, Innovation roadmap & IBE (Integrated Brand Experience) development for the Palmolive brand for the Africa/Eurasia Division.
The job location will be Istanbul.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
POC Manager is responsible for building up and strengthening the scientific image of Colgate and developing trusting, long term partnership with designated academic institutions ( including pharmacy when appropriate) at national level. The position plays an integral role in positioning Colgate in the professional especially with the next generation of dentists as an important scientific , innovative and credible partner who is engaged in improving health. Roles include to plan and execute the full digital strategy & plan for professional engagement and communication throughout the full funnel ACPL.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building trusting long term partnership and lasting strategic alliances
Increasing knowledge and building use of Colgate Products
Leveraging the partnership with academia to conduct network clinical / laboratory research with Colgate R&D
Represents Colgate at local dental research and dental educational conferences
Coordinates and gives lectures and presentation on scientific topics to faculty and students
Monitor and update professional website content and layout according to company priorities
Content development for dentist and students taking in consideration formats trends
Run CRM activities
Work with Global and Division and local Consumer marketing team on tools implement and implementation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years of practical experience; preferably with a Multinational FMCG company
Fluent in English
Higher Education degree required

Reports to: Sr Manager Strategic Innovation Projects Marketing
Travel : %30 to %50

ORAL CARE SCIENCE AND BRAND KNOWLEDGE
Having comprehensive knowledge of oral care technology, products and scientific literature to link science and marketing and to effectively communicate as an expert-to-expert partner
Communicates effectively the science behind the brand’s ingredients and technology and its clinical relevance and therapeutic benefits
Has the thorough understanding to speak informatively and competently about Colgate technology and products – indication, clinical support, product usage, features and benefits and knows the related scientific literature in-depth
Keeps current on scientific literature by having scientific discussions with key opinion leaders, participating in scientific conferences and regularly accessing relevant scientific literature
Expresses complex scientific content into understandable messages tailored to the professional’s and consumer marketing’s levels of understanding
Translates science and technology into practical, relevant heath care information that captures the professionals’ attention
Leverages knowledge of oral diseases, local population health trends and oral care problems to identify potential business opportunities
Is proactive in acquiring knowledge of Colgate’s technology and products
Works with consumer marketing to translate scientific messages to external target groups, including key opinion leaders, practitioners, dental hygienists, pharmacists and consumers
