What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team?
As an Information Security OT (Operational Technology) Engineer you will be part of the growing Global Information Security organization. This position will work closely with the extended Global Information Technology Infrastructure, Supply Chain organization, as well as Manufacturing teams across the globe.
Who are you…
You are a function expert -
Serve as a technical liaison between the IT and Operations Technology (OT) organizational units to ensure production facilities, operations and systems are following security best practices
Support cyber threat and security incident identification, detection, response and remediation activities impacting the manufacturing operations environment and escalating to management.
Lead the effort to build cyber threat and security incident detection process impacting the manufacturing operations environment. Work with the Security Engineering team to orchestrate said detection use cases.
Engage with cross-organizational teams to address threat detection deficiencies.
Collaborate with SOC to operationalize OT security alerts and develop playbooks.
Participate in investigations to determine the root cause of security incidents.
Work with Supply Chain, manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with security policies, processes and standards.
Configure, test, document and implement new or upgrades to security processes, controls or products as advised.
Provide operational support, troubleshooting and maintenance of Security related processes, controls or products.

Your proficiency in managing IT/OT, coupled with your expertise in developing sophisticated security use cases, will bridge the gap between security requirements and technical implementation.
You will connect the dots by aligning IT/OT security with overarching security objectives, ensuring that our systems are effectively onboarded and monitored for potential threats.
You are a collaborator -
Your expertise and insights as a IT/OT Security Engineer will be instrumental in driving the security for our Manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with manufacturing team to help resolve open security issue and implement newer solutions which would help us strengthen our manufacturing environment
You are an innovator -
You will spearhead transformative initiatives that push the boundaries of what's possible with IT/OT security and beyond. Your innovative approach will drive the evolution of our manufacturing security environment, from introducing innovative features to devising novel approaches for log analysis and security use cases
Your ability to think with a security attitude and build use cases from a security perspective sets you apart as a true innovator.
What you’ll need…(Required)
Minimum 2+ years of experience with ICS/OT Systems or in a cybersecurity role within a manufacturing or OT environment
Working knowledge of ICS cybersecurity policies and standards including NIST SP 800-82 & 213, IEC 62443, MITRE ATT&CK framework for ICS
Ability to apply knowledge of Cyber Security to OT/ICS/SCADA systems to implement new cyber defense/resiliency techniques.
Knowledge or experience with endpoint security software
Willingness to learn new technologies, tools and be adaptive
What you’ll need…(Preferred):
Experience with OT/ICS security/visibility tools (Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos etc)
Experience with industry leading IDS/IPS, SIEM, SOAR platforms
Awareness of and experience leveraging industry best practices for network and cloud security
Understanding of attack vectors, vulnerabilities, and how they are leveraged by malicious actors
