Position Summary:
The VP, General Manager of Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (COP) is the leader of the Colgate Oral Care Pharmaceuticals business in North America (US & Canada). They are responsible for developing the vision, designing the strategy, and then implementing the plan to drive growth of Colgate in the professional oral care channel, including sales results, profitability and professional advocacy of Colgate products and the Colgate brand.
The General Manager, COP is responsible for building strong partnerships across Colgate-Palmolive and the industry to support the business objectives. They are accountable for attracting, developing and inspiring a team of approximately 140 people, representing all functions of the business, including: Customer Development, Marketing, CS&L, Finance, Human Resources, and Scientific Affairs among others.
The position reports into the Senior Vice President & General Manager of Oral Care North America.
Responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
Drive the COP growth agenda, including developing current customers and generating new sources of business.
Deliver the annual budget and multi-year strategic plan KPIs and growth goals
Manage overall P&L and commercial operations COP business
Partner with the Global Enterprise Oral Care Team to develop strategy and innovation roadmap
Partner with North America Category Brand Teams to build the portfolio, launch new products and develop integrated marketing plans that work across both consumer retail and the Profession
Partner with Consumer Experience & Growth team to execute the digital strategy and marketing plans
Build a high performing leadership team, including heads of Customer Development (sales), Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Professional Affairs.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
15+ years of commercial (sales or marketing) CPG experience with growing leadership roles in global, matrixed organizations
10+ years experience leading and motivating diverse teams
Proven experience creating and implementing strategies for business growth
Demonstrated development, measurement and achievement of financial goals
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters/MBA
P&L experience leading a business of $50M+
Professional Dental experience as practitioner or administrator
Experience in a business to business serving medical or dental professionals
Proficient in Google Suite
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $270,000.00 - $300,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
