We are excited to invite applications to join the Hill's Digital Applications group within our Global Information Technology Organization as Product Analyst -Vet Digital EcoSystem supporting our Vet Recommendations. We want you to help unify and scale our Vet Recommendation experience and advance the features and functionalities across the ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about understanding stakeholder challenges to identify technology solutions and engaging experiences to deliver business value. Work with the Hill's Pet Nutrition commercial team to define product vision then synthesize key technical decisions to inform the ecosystem and mini app roadmaps. You will work with product managers across the organization to identify opportunities to unify experience and reduce redundancy, drive synergies, and scale functionality. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and can work well both independently and within a team. They are a self-starter, eager to drive new product pipelines and consider security, performance and user interface implications in the designs of our constantly evolving portfolio. You need excellent communication and negotiation skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to multitask.

What you'll do:

  • Defining and prioritize a well-defined recommendation roadmap for the vet ecosystem with internal stakeholders

  • Support end-to-end efforts to develop and adhere to project plans/schedules/deliverables; ensure project timelines are appropriately managed throughout the project lifecycle

  • Assist in delivering product enhancements as defined by the roadmap

  • Responsible for defining the release process and coordinating all activities to help build the product/site

  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis

  • Business Problem analysis, requirement analysis, consulting with the business

  • Develop user stories, technical requirements, process flow diagram and relationship diagrams such as flow charts

  • Responsible for ensuring user stories are tested, completed, and deployed

  • During feature definition, help define success metrics and design event-based analytics implementation by working with the development team. Post launch, evaluate the feature using these analytics and collaborate with Product Managers to inform subsequent feature iterations.

  • Collaborate with product manager and technical leads in maintaining plan integration and ensuring the overall achievement of product objectives

  • Test the quality of sites and write test plans for external testers

  • Coordinate user tests, propose recommendations for improvement and seek validation with our partners while identifying bugs and opportunities for improvement

  • Promote adherence to project documentation

  • Ensure site experience and design is consistent with the Colgate brands and legal requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or similar degree

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Analyst

  • Experience with leading Digital Commerce platforms such as Shopify, Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce, etc

  • Working on Agile/SCRUM development teams

  • A functional understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.

  • Clear, concise and user-friendly interpersonal skills to easily transmit your ideas to any audience

  • Strong organization skills and self-motivation

  • Ability to work on numerous assignments at one time with proven follow-through, attention to detail and dedication to business partnership

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in business requirements, technology options and product / site direction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Google Analytics (or similar)

  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence, and/or Trello)

  • Experience with web development / architecture

  • Experience leveraging user centric design and applying user experience concepts

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $88 800,00 - $134 400,00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
