Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

  • Experience in managing industrial CAPEX projects.

  • Advanced English.

  • Postgraduate degree in Project Management (Desirable).

  • Experience in engineering project management for FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), manufacturing processes (Making process) and utilities. (Desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and specify process or packaging equipment, develop technical specifications and layouts, handle electrical and control requirements, and compile project documentation;

  • Be aware of the latest technical developments and identify potential applications for continuous improvement in manufacturing;

  • Develop plans and schedules for completing tasks using appropriate project management tools;

  • Regularly issue progress reports;

  • Monitor project progress, modify plans, and initiate corrective actions based on feedback and changes;

  • Develop project contingency plans as needed;

  • Deliver projects within the necessary deadlines and budgets;

  • Execute good engineering protocols/practices, including development and evaluation of project scope, layouts, bids, expenses, schedules and start-up;

  • Develop and implement CAPEX projects seeking to maximize ROI (return of investment);

  • Provide quotations from contractors, vendors and suppliers to compose the project budget;

  • Supervise and manage the cost of the ongoing project and adherence to the budget;

  • Ensure compliance with appropriate Colgate standards and local regulations, including EHS, Quality, and Microbiology Regulations;

  • Apply appropriate standards and applicable codes to projects and installations;

  • Ensure project team members understand and comply with all safety rules/regulations;

  • Oversee site preparation, installation of equipment, control systems, and associated utilities (water, electrical, HVAC, steam, air, etc.) with contractors or in-house maintenance personnel;

  • Coordinate the start-up and operational training and maintenance of new projects;

  • Transfer skills/knowledge through effective communication, including operator manuals, SOPs, continuous improvement reviews and through training itself;

  • Execute/record lessons learned process aiming at continuous improvement;

  • Develop collaborative relationships with partners in key functional areas;

  • Supervise the project's progress by controlling the area's KPIs, developing a mitigation plan when necessary;

  • Create technical specifications (specifications) for the acquisition of new equipment/services, when necessary, monitoring the procurement process until delivery of the equipment;

  • Coordinate subcontracted team to carry out service on projects.
