Job purpose

The role will be responsible for Business partnering and financial support to the Northern Europe Hub and Subsidiary (UK & Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden) Marketing and Commercial Teams. This will include Financial Planning, Reporting, Control and month end financial closing

What you will do:

  • Business Partner to the Oral Care Consumer Experience (Marketing) team, responsible for improving the financial KPIs of your categories:

  • Elevate Financial understanding of your category profitability through added value financial analysis

  • Partner with Consumer Experience on NPD process to optimise new products financial incrementality and ensure execution is in line with the plans

  • Develop P&L scenario modelling to optimise ROI of business opportunities

  • Anticipate any gap vs Budget / LE assumptions and collaborate on mitigation plans

  • Responsibility for local Hub reporting:

  • Issue accurate reporting on time (Sales, Margin, P&L analytics)

  • Continuously improve the analytics provided to the teams through use of advanced excel/ Google sheets functionalities or use of new technologies

  • As a member of B&P team you contribute to the quarterly and monthly financial closing and you will collaborate with the rest of the B&P team to meet various divisional requests for the hub

  • You will contribute to finance or multi-functional projects

  • You will drive continuous improvement through identification of potential process efficiencies and drive simplification initiatives

  • Financial Analysis with Financial statement understanding

  • Business perspective and understanding

  • Advanced Excel/ Google Sheet Skills

  • SAP and Business Warehouse skills preferred

  • Works with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
