PET SALES COORDINATOR

Job Summary

To provide support to the General Manager and Customer Development team and through timely and cost effective day to day administration to ensure an efficient Sales operation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the Head Office coordinator on all Pet Channel customer development team activities, including:

  • Contact on Point of Sale queries

  • Meeting venues and action points

  • Day to day requirements

  • Diary management for Pet Channel Meetings

  • Day to day admin support for account management team

  • To act as coordinator on key trade shows and events:

  • Liaise with Event Manager to deliver efficient organization and logistics requirements

  • Arrange delivery of supporting materials

  • Manage the stand, together with nominated manager at the event

  • Manage, in conjunction with Marketing, POS and racks to ensure it meets all the demands of the sales team:

  • Maintain regular contact with external vendors to ensure standards are maintained and inventory is managed

  • Set up regular stock and ordering systems to anticipate and satisfy demands

  • Ensure the service of pet shops and/or vet practices is both timely and efficient

  • Alert relevant people on any shortages and manage speedy replenishment

  • Collate and Process Invoices and create purchase orders for the Pet and eCommerce Team

  • Maintain invoice and BDF trackers

  • Manage epay system

  • Support Customer Development Manager(s) in the preparation of sales review meetings, sales team meetings and other presentations

  • Provide support to the General Manager including;

  • Travel

  • Meetings

Education/ Experience

Basic qualifications include: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor Degree

Expected Areas of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient computer skills with the Internet, Lotus Notes and Microsoft office, specifically Excel, Word and Powerpoint

  • Demonstrates strong time management skills and capable of prioritizing tasks
