The Role:
The Sanitation Operator is directly responsible for the cleanliness of an assigned area within the plant. We currently have positions open on day shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all assigned activities and job tasks within a line or area as it relates to GMP cleaning practices
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Work in conjunction with the quality team to keep areas clean
Participates in Food Safety inspections and reports
Must have the ability to qualify to drive a forklift
Maintain a clean, safe work environment that promotes associate safety and product integrity
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Physical/Enviromental Requirements:
Standing on a concrete floor
Must be capable of working at elevated heights and or confined space
Wear proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)
Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals
Minimum Qualifications:
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules
Ability to understand and effectively communicate in the English language
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
2 years of work experience within manufacturing
Working knowledge of food safety practices
Computer Experience
Knowledge of inventory control principles
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $15.30 - $18.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

2-2-3 shift schedules with overtime available
